Heritage Point Golf Club resides in the idyllic Pine Creek Valley, just a few minutes south of Calgary. The club offers 27 holes of golf that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Desert/Heritage Course is an interesting layout of Scottish-influenced holes and dramatic elevation changes. Traditionalists will enjoy the Desert nine since it is a classic links with deep bunkers and fairways lined with fescue. The Heritage nine begins atop an elevated tee that drops to the valley floor 200 feet below. One of the most challenging holes on the golf course is Heritage's eighth, which is touted as one of Canada's finest short par 4s. The 312-yard hole requires a tee shot past a 200-foot gorge in order to make it to the distant fairway.
