Tucked away in Pine Creek Valley, Heritage Pointe Golf Club offers 27 holes featuring a verdant landscape of grassy knolls, meadows strewn with prairie flowers, and stands of cottonwoods. Although it sits just minutes south of Calgary, the club feels secluded from the commotion of one of Canada's busiest metropolitan centers. Pointe/Desert is one of the three 18-hole combinations created by the individual nines. The Pointe nine is unique from the other two nines in that its holes are shorter and quirkier. It also offers plenty of elevation changes. Heritage Pointe's Desert nine is a more traditional links-style course with hidden pot bunkers and windswept fairways lined with fescue. It is arguably the best of the three nines and it is definitely the favorite among traditionalists.
