With the Canadian Rockies serving as the backdrop, the two 18-hole layouts at Kananaskis Country Golf Course are equipped with a rugged natural terrain and amazing views. Golfers can also expect to be joined by a variety of wildlife during their round. Robert Trent Jones designed both courses. The Mount Kidd Course is situated at the base of its namesake mountain, which soars over 10,000 feet above sea level. Unlike the other golf course at the facility, Mount Lorette, where water plays a major role, this course is dominated by sand. The plentiful silica sand bunkers present a formidable challenge for even the most skilled golfers at Kananaskis.
